What is Inner State? What does a week at Inner State festival look like?
For our very first event we open our gates for an international adventure into feel-good states. An ephemeral neighbourhood of awesome humans. Musicians, healers, and leading thinkers. Artists, chefs, and master mixologists.
With daily happenings from sunrise to moonrise, expect mind settling and body bending practices like yoga, breathwork, running, SUP, movement & meditation. Music and soundscapes to feed your soul and enhance your entire experience. Talks to expand your mind and encourage rebellious revelations. A new kind of wellbeing festival, our whole systems approach will leave you feeling like you never want to leave.
Travel
Where is the festival located?
Inner State takes place in Dhërmi, a coastal village on the Albanian Riviera located between the cities of Sarandë and Vlorë. It is the most beautiful spot on the entire coastline and a true hidden gem.
What is the best route to get to Inner State?
We recommend coming in via Corfu, which offers lower flight prices and an easier, more picturesque journey to Dhërmi. We organise boat transfers from Corfu port to Himarë or Sarandë for passport control, then the final leg of the trip is by bus. The bus, which is included in the price, will drop you off at a location near your accommodation in Dhërmi.
Alternatively, you can fly to Tirana but you would have to arrange your own transportation to Inner State. Taxis from Tirana cost around 70€-100€ per journey.
How do I get from the airport to Corfu Port?
The best option is to take a taxi from the airport to Corfu Port (Kerkira). It takes about 15 min.

A full list of transfer times will be available to view during the booking process. Please make sure your flight times are compatible with your selected transfers. Our ferries will not be available outside of the timings below:
When will you take my flight information for the transfers?
We will be in touch to let you know when we need these and details and how they will need to be inputted.
Do you have to stay for the full week?
You can come for the full week Thursday – Thursday, from Friday-Monday or anytime in between! We have two arrival days (Thursday 15th and Friday 16th) and three departure days (Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd).
I need to leave on Saturday or Sunday but I see that I cannot book transfers over the weekend with you, how can I get back to Corfu airport?
You will need to make your own arrangements to get home if you need to leave over the weekend. You can check the public ferry timetable here: https://ionianseaways.com/timetable/
Please note, you will need to go to Saranda and then on to Corfu. This will require arranging a taxi from Dhërmi to Saranda costing approx. 70€-100€. Once in Saranda, you can take the ferry to Corfu port.
Can I explore Albania myself before or after the festival?
Absolutely, we strongly recommend going out and exploring the country either before or after the festival.
Please note that there is no car hire available in Dhërmi, but you can get a taxi to or from Saranda to hire a car and explore further.
Tickets
Can I buy tickets without accommodation?
All Inner State tickets include accommodation and a festival wristband. This approach avoids overinflated rates during the festival week and ensures sustainable prices for guests this year and beyond.
Our aim is to provide the best possible experience and being able to manage the accommodation for our guests enables us to deliver on all aspects of your festival experience. We charge hotels and apartments the same commission as Airbnb so this only makes your price better.
Can I buy tickets if I am local?
Local tickets will be available via our booking site nearer to the event. You can join the waiting list here for local tickets and we will notify you when these go on sale.
Festival information
How many people are expected to attend Inner State 2022?
There are only 2000 tickets available this year.
How old must I be to attend Inner State 2022?
Inner State is strictly an 18+ event. We will need to perform ID checks in order for you to collect your wristband.
What is the easiest way to get to Inner State from my accommodation during the festival?
Many hotels are within walking distance of the festival, there will also be a regular shuttle bus running to and from the festival for any guests staying in Drymades or Dhërmi town. Tickets for the shuttle bus can be purchased through the booking site or via manage booking once you’ve made your booking.
What kind of amenities are available in Dhërmi?
Dhërmi is a small coastal village, there are medical services, bars, restaurants and several small shops. There is only one ATM in Dhermi and another in Drymades. You will need cash for restaurants and local shops but the festival area (bars, festival market) are contactless, you can use your RFID wristband to pay there. You can top up your RFID wristband via card payment and use your wristband to pay within the festival site.
What are the food/drink costs like at Inner State?
Nourishing the mind, body and soul are equally important at Inner State and we hope food will play an important role in your culture rich festival experience. Further details on our food partners and experiences will be released nearer to the festival. Expect beachside feasts, farm to table dining and local delicacies all in enviable locations.
On-site restaurants are very reasonable and a meal will cost between £5 – £15. Supermarkets are limited but do sell alcohol. Drink prices will vary from bar to bar ranging from €4-€8 depending on the selected drink.

Where can I find the line up?

When are the main acts/ headliners performing?
The festival takes place between Thursday 15th and the early hours of Thursday 22nd September. Our headline music performers will be between Friday to Tuesday. However we will have talks, workshops and incredible events across the entire week including our opening and closing ceremonies.
What are the running times of stages?
Running times vary during the week and our stages will be hosting a number of different activities. We will have sunrise yoga sessions through to early hours sets and more. The full schedule for the wellness, talks, and music programme we have put together will be released closer to the event. We have developed this especially to ensure each day you can sample acts from each to truly experience our whole system approach to wellbeing.
Wellness
What are the wellness activities available at Inner State?
Our wellness programme includes yoga, breathwork, calisthenics, pilates, sound journeys, meditation, massage, astral projections, lucid dreaming, qi gong, diving, boxing, running, swimming and many more. A selection of tried and tested wellness activities alongside a number of activities you may not have come across. We hope you will try something you have never done before. Unleash your inner explorer and find your flow.
Do I need to book the wellness options?
The vast majority of our wellness program is included in your festival ticket. Some of these will need to be booked prior to the festival. We will also have some special events alongside spa treatments and therapies available for you to book at extra cost. Details on the booking process will be released in the coming months with plenty of time for you to plan your week.
Do I need experience to attend wellness sessions?
No experience required for any of our activations. Everyone from experts to complete beginners are welcome and you can join any activity that suits you. At the beginning of a session our practitioners will give you a run through of the class or workshop and go over any concerns you may have if you feel uncertain.
What should I wear/bring to the wellness sessions?
We have ensured that you will not need to bring much more than yourself for each wellness session. We recommend that you wear suitable clothing depending on your activity and always bring water with you. Any specific equipment required for the activity will be provided for you. In the event it would be beneficial to bring/wear something specific to a session you will be notified on the session details.
Talks
What topics will be covered in the talks programme at Inner State?
Our talks programme will cover topics from sense making, initiation, flow states, nutrition, therapy, regeneration, lucid dreaming, astral projections, psychedelics, neuroscience, and intuition. Many of our talks will include Q&As and we expect lively involvement, with leading thinkers from around the globe expect us to touch upon many more.
Will I need to book the talks I want to attend?
The vast majority of our talks program is included in your festival ticket and you will be able to turn up to our talks stage- The Yacht Club and join in. We are planning some more intimate events with special guests which will need to be booked. Details on these will be released in the coming weeks.
Do I need a visa or travel permit to travel to Inner State?
As our guests travel from all over the world, we recommend that you visit your own Governments’ website, and research the visa requirements from your own country.
If you are travelling from the UK, via Corfu please note that Since the 1st Jan 2021, tourists from the UK will be able to travel to countries in the Schengen area, which includes Greece, for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. This applies if you travel as a tourist. Which includes attending cultural or sports events.
If you are travelling to Greece and other Schengen countries without a visa, make sure your whole visit is within the 90-day limit. Visits to Schengen countries within the previous 180 days before you travel count towards your 90 days
If you are flying straight to Albania, please note that British citizens can enter and remain in Albania for a maximum of 90 days in every 6-month period without a visa. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 3 months from the date of entry into Albania.
Can I still travel to Dhermi with Brexit?
The majority of Inner State customers travel via Corfu.
Since the 1st Jan 2021, tourists from the UK will be able to travel to countries in the Schengen area, which includes Greece, for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. This applies if you travel as a tourist. Which includes attending cultural or sports events.
If you are travelling to Greece and other Schengen countries without a visa, make sure your whole visit is within the 90-day limit. Visits to Schengen countries within the previous 180 days before you travel count towards your 90 days

What about health insurance?
While we cannot recommend specific insurance companies or policies, we advise that all our customers do extensive research around their own insurance policy to ensure they are covered extensively.
What happens if travel is not allowed?
We are constantly monitoring the travel situation to both Albania and Corfu. In the event of a full cancellation or rescheduled date, ticket-holders will be entitled to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled show, or a full face value refund on their package.
Will I get my money back if it is cancelled due to COVID?
In the event of a full cancellation or rescheduled date, ticket-holders will be entitled to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled show, or a full face value refund on their package.
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
Entry to the event will not be dependent on having a vaccination but we are at the discretion of the various Governing bodies involved, and what their requirements are in regards to traveling to the event.
At the moment, most countries seem to require either proof of vaccination or a negative test.
As stated in our T&Cs, we can only provide general information on the subject and would recommend you continue to monitor the ongoing updates provided before making a booking. If you fail to comply with the travel requirements set by the governments we won’t be able to offer you a refund and standard cancellation T&Cs apply.
As always, our booking policy remains the same and in the event of a full cancellation or rescheduled date, ticket-holders will be entitled to either transfer their ticket to a rescheduled show, or receive a refund on their package.
Will Inner State still go ahead if we have to quarantine on arrival in Albania or on return to the UK?
We continue to monitor the ever-changing global situation and the conversations about travel corridors between countries. At the moment, different options are being considered but there are no clear guidelines in place.
It is still too early to know what the situation will be like in September. However, if travel restrictions such as quarantines are in place it is very likely that the event won’t go ahead. We will review this before the final balance date so everyone can make a decision before having to pay anything further than the deposit.
As always, our booking policy remains the same and in the event of a full cancellation or rescheduled date, ticket-holders will be entitled to either transfer their ticket to a rescheduled show, or receive a refund on their package.
When will I have to pay the full amount by?
The final balance date will be 31st May 2022. You can pay as much as you like leading up to that date.
Will I lose the £50 deposit if it gets cancelled?
In the event of a full cancellation or rescheduled date, ticket-holders will be entitled to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled show, or a full face value refund on their package. Which would include your deposit.
The only deductible amount would be the non-refundable £10pp booking fee.
When is the line up being announced?
The line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
Is it safe to travel to Albania?
Just like everywhere in the world, the situation in Albania is constantly changing. We are actively monitoring the situation and working closely with both the Government and local authorities regarding the safety and feasibility of the event.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Inner State is set on a beachfront on the coast of Dhermi, Albania. Due to the location of the event, access for some mobility impairments i.e. wheelchair users is not possible in certain areas. However, Mainstage will work with you to ensure you still have the best experience possible.
